About CMRU
CMR University-Seamedu, Bangalore is a private university in Karnataka, established in 2013 under Act 45 by the CMR Jnanadhara Trust. The university's vision is “To nurture creative thinkers who will drive positive global change.” The university was awarded “Emerging University of the Year” by ASSOCHAM, New Delhi.

The CMRU courses include B.Sc in Filmmaking, Game art and Design, Photography, Sound engineering, Visual Effects and Animation, and BCA in Game Development. Interested candidates should apply online as well as offline for admission to CMRU for their chosen courses. CMR University School of Engineering and Technology has been ranked 4th amongst Top Engineering Institutes, by Times All India Engineering Institutes Ranking Survey 2022.
The CMR University campus was developed as per LEED Green Building certification standards. All the facilities required for interactive learning like the library, laboratory, classrooms with audio-visual aids, and auditorium are there. It also has international standard sports facilities. Separate hostels are available for boys and girls. The CMR University placement cell conducts mock interviews, group discussions, grooming classes, and online tests regularly for the students to help them get jobs easily. They also help the students to crack exams like GRE, TOEFL, CMAT, CAT, Bank PO, etc. CMR University placement record shows that more than 200 recruiters have visited the college for campus interviews in recent years.

CMRU Placements
CMR University placement cell focuses on nurturing creativity and knowledge in the students. The training modules train the students with Aptitude, Verbal Ability, Technical, Soft skills, and basic IT programming skills. In the final and pre-final year, company-specific training is conducted. The students are also taught soft skills like team skills, decision-making capability, presentation skills, analytical bent of mind, innovation, communication skills, and maintaining a positive attitude. CMR University placement cell also trains the students for various competitive exams.
For the year 2021-22, the CMRU placement drive was very successful. The highest salary package offered to the students of CMR University was Rs 30 LPA and the average salary package was Rs 6.5 LPA.

CMRU Campus Facilities and Infrastructure
CMR University campus has WiFi zones, a cafeteria, and halls for cultural events, apart from classrooms with audio-visual learning aid, a well-stocked library, laboratory, etc. There are international standard indoor sports complexes and separate cricket, athletics, and football grounds to give students the opportunities to excel in sports along with their studies. The CMR University campus offers a great environment for the students and their overall growth. For the ease of the students, the university also offers a hostel facility and transportation facility as well.

CMR University courses are offered in more than 61 UG, PG, Diploma and PhD specialisations in the fields of management, commerce, economics, law, design, science, architecture and many more. The CMR University courses are designed as per the standard requirements and the latest research in the respective fields. The interested candidates must have to fulfil the eligibility criteria.
